MEGAN IN THE WATER SWIMMING LIKE A CHAMP

I heard on the radio recently that so many people post information on how happy they are as a couple and you always see their posts and follow them on social media and then suddenly there are no more posts and therefore you wonder...... was there a break up? Since we have been following your posts its only fair that we now know what has happened to your happy relationship that you posted all over Facebook. I kind of feel the same way now that I posted my journey with Megan on social media and realized that a lot of people had read about it - the love and support has been amazing from the last blog and I personally want to thank everyone for their kind and supportive encouragement, it gave me strength when I needed it.

So just a short and simple blog this time around so for those of you that are wondering what has happened with our Megan, I can give you a brief update.

We got feedback from the Cape Town Neurosurgeons and our Neurosurgeon in Durban. We have been advised to wait around another 2 months and then Megan will have all her MRI's done again at Ethekweni hospital under General Anesthetic. She was only sedated when she had all her first MRI's and it literally takes a horse tranquilizer to put our Megan to sleep! So she moved around a lot and they want to get better images. Obviously if anything drastic happens before the 2 months we take action.

Megan is currently being home schooled by myself at home in the mornings and then we are either busy with Physio or at her Psychologist and weekly check-ups with our Neurologist. We had an awesome night away last weekend and Megan swam in the dam and even went behind the boat on a tube. Meg's has always been an active little girl and a real go-getter, so I think this journey has been really tough on her, but we are working on that.

We don't know where we will be in 2 months from now and what surgery Megan will require but for now we are taking this literally one day at a time,
